Examining the Extent and Manner of Conventional Technologies Use by Iran's Premier League Teams and Its Impact on Team Results

Abstract

Background and Objectives: The main purpose of this research was to examine the extent to which coaches in the Premier Volleyball League utilize conventional technologies in volleyball and its impact on their team's performance.
Methods: A descriptive research method was employed to achieve the study's objectives. The research's statistical population comprised all coaches active in the Premier Volleyball League during the 1401-1400 season, totaling 206 individuals, who also made up the study's sample.
Findings: The findings revealed that the use of conventional volleyball technologies varied significantly among Premier League coaches based on gender and educational background, while no significant differences were observed concerning coaching experience and qualifications.
Conclusion: The research highlighted the importance of conventional technologies in volleyball, such as sports equipment, technical innovations, testing technologies, service technologies, player performance analysis tools, and training reforms. These technologies have become integral to the practices and strategies employed by Premier Volleyball League coaches
